Artist Statement - Malapropic
My current works are explorations of missreading and ______. Ever since I began to ______ sketchbooks, I enjoyed compiling dissociative images together to create interesting visualy compositions. It is the ______ asssociation of these signs that have evolved into the illogic that governs craetive process. My paintings are the result ______ diliberate misinterpreting which are achieved through their creation with ____ of humor.There are ______ procedures I willingly, and some-times pointlessly, create to ______ interested in working through these potential slipages that can ______ through the interesting visual posibilities that propel my work. I am amused by the ways that misreadings can grow into new forms of visual interprtations, which can themselves, inturn, be misread. Like the forced compositions in my sketchbooks, my paintings are visual ______ of detached logics.
